Belgian War Graves Oostkamp

The cemetery in Oostkamp contains about 20 graves of civilian victims of the Second World War. They are civilians who, in most cases, were the victims of aerial bombardments. There are graves from 27 March 1942; 26 January 1943; 10 March 1943; 8 September 1944 and 22 September 1944.
There are also four civilian graves from the First World War. It concerns the SALEMBIER Family, Gustaaf, 37 years old; André, 7 years old ; Raisa, 5 years ; Marcel, 4 years. They were the victims of an airplane bomb that hit their home on 19 August 1918.
