Craig Air Field

Craig Field was built in 1941 for the AAF to provide pre-flight, specialized and advanced pilot training. Several French units were trained here. After years of operation as Craig Air Force Base, it was eventually closed. Craig Field's auxiliary fields were:
- Aux #1 Selfield Airport
- Aux. #2 Furniss Auxiliary Field
- Aux. #3 Henderson Aux. Field
- Aux. #4 Mollette Aux. Field
- Aux #5 Autaugaville Airport
