Stumbling Stones Sloestraat 6

'A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN HIS NAME IS FORGOTTEN'
(Talmud)

Here in Amsterdam three Stumbling Stones were laid for:

DAVID BAUMANN, murdered on July 19, 1943 in Sobibor.

MARTA BAUMANN-WEISS, murdered on January 28, 1944 in Auschwitz.

LOTHAR BAUMANN, murdered on August 30, 1942 in Auschwitz.

These Stumbling Stones are here for Jewish war victims, deported and murdered in the Second World War.
