French War Cemetery Faubourg Pavé Verdun

This large War Cemetery contains 600 French war graves from the Second World War and 4,906 war graves from the First World War. It is also the last burial site of 7 British soldiers as well as 1 Belgian and 1 Polish soldier who were killed in the Second World War.

Apart from the large plot are two graves of:

- Doctor Vernier (resistance fighter), executed on 08/31/1944.
- Unknown victim of the Second World War.

Six field guns of the First World War are standing at the cemetery.
