Memorial Church Saint Roch, La Saute

At the church of Saint Roch in La Saute, two memorials have been erected in honor of two residents of the parish who lost their lives. They are:

CROSSET Leon, age 23, born in Henri-Chapelle, Sergeant with the 11th Line Regiment, died of head injuries on October 2, 1918, in the military hospital in Beveren-aan-den-Yser.

HARDY Nicolas, priest, murdered in Kilembe in Congo on January 22, 1964.
