Memorial Crash B-17G Flying Fortress
This memorial commemorates the crash of a B-17G Flying Fortress (306 Bomb Group, US Army 8th Air Force) at Spanish Head, Rushen, on 14 April 1945. In the crash, all 11 people on the plane were killed.
