Commonwealth War Graves Horendonk (Essen)

Horendonk Communal Cemetery contains the graves of six Commonwealth airmen of the Second World War who died on 13/10/1941.
There are four grave stones, four victims are in a double grave.
Very special is that because there is no fence for the cemetery, the green sign is placed in front of the graves of the fence.

The pilot P/O Brian David Bowes Cavanagh was related to the Queen Mother, the wife of King George VI.
