Commonwealth War Graves St-Remy-Geest

At the cemetery in Saint-Remy-Geest, municipality Jodoigne, are two Commonwealth war graves. These are the graves of Flying Officer (Pilot), Terence Cecil Clarke, 25129 and Aircraftman 1st Class (W.Op./Air Gnr) William Smith Rodulson, 551863. On May 14, 1940, the Westland Lysander II L4742 was during a reconnaissance flight shot down by a German night-fighter. The plane crashed near St-Remy-Geest. In the crash, both crew members got killed, they are both buried in this cemetery.
