German War Cemetery Steinfeld

On this War Cemetery (Kriegsgräberstätte) 633 casualties are buried, some of them from the First World War.

Most of them were Germans, but there are also Russian and Italian graves and one graven of a Dutch volunteer and two graves of women who serviced in the German army. Most of them were killed in the area Schleiden – Kall – Mechernich – Schmidtheim, or died in the Monastery-hospital due to wounds.
