Eglise Notre Dame of Saint-Lô

During the bombing in the night of 6 to June 7, 1944, the Eglise Notre Dame of Saint-Lô was seriously damaged. A large part of a tower collapsed and a part of the tower crashed through the bridge of Notre Dame. The residents of Saint-Lô didn't renovate the entire Notre Dame and they only rebuild the necessary parts. On this location, you can still find the devastating effects of the heavy bombing on Saint-Lô.
