Jewish Monument Bourtange

The Jewish Monument was erected in memory of 46 Jews from their village who were deported during the Second World War.

The plaque reads:

REMEMBER WHAT Amalek DID YOU...

IN MEMORY OF THE 46 DEPORTATES
OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY OF BOURTANGE -
FLAG WEDGE FROM THE YEARS 1940-1945.

The 46 victims are:
