House Rudolf Höss Auschwitz
Rudolf Höss with his family lived beside Concentrationcamp Auschwitz l. Rudolf Höss was Camp Commandant of Auschwitz l from May 1940 to December 1943. In 1941 he helped establish Auschwitz II - Birkenau. He made a model-extermination camp of Auschwitz lI.
After the war Rudolf Höss managed to escape. In March 1946 he was arrested and he was hanged on the gallow at Auschwitz l.
