German War Graves Dorpat / Tartu

In the Second World War, Pauluse Kalmistu Cemetery in Tartu was used for the burial of 1,964 German soldiers. After the war, the plot was reused for civilian graves. Close to the former plot, a memorial with names is erected to commemorate the 1,964 German soldiers who are buried here in now invisible graves.
