World War II & Holocaust Memorial Cemetery Montjuïc

At the Cemetery Montjuïc in Barcelona is the monument for the victims who died in World War ll, between 1939 and 1945. The monument is located on the "Fossar de la Pedrera".

It also includes the Jewish monument for the victims of World War ll. Each stone is a symbol of one of the concentration camps: Mauthausen, Bergen-Belsen, Buchenwald, Belzec, Sobibor, Dachau, Auschwitz, Treblinka and Majdanek. The two Jewish plaques commemorate the freedom 50 years after World War ll.
