Commonwealth War Cemetery Borre

Borre British Cemetery contains 367 Commonwealth burials of the First World War and also five burials of the Second World War.
There are also three German war graves.

The Commonwealth War Cemetery Borre British Cemetery contains one Belgian war grave of the Second World War. It concerns Lieutenant-Pilot SCHMITZ Claude Alain Marie André Ghislain.
Lieutenant-aviator (Flying Officer RAF) Claude SCHMITZ was shot down with his Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX (MH413) aircraft above French Flanders on 26 August 1944 by the German Flak. He did not survive the crash.
