Stützpunkt 05 Franceville West - Observation Post
Stützpunkt 05 Franceville West, part of the German Atlantic Wall (Atlantikwall), is constructed to protect the eastern entrance of the harbour of Ouistreham and the "Canal de Caen". The stützpunkt is constructed around a French fort (redoute) built in 1779.
