Belgian War Graves Herstal Cemetery Rhées

The cemetery Rhees in Herstal contains numerous graves of military victims of the First and Second World War. These graves are scattered throughout the cemetery.

There is a mass grave with fallen soldiers of the Battle of Liège in August 1914 and, in particular, the Battle of Rhees on 5 and 6 August 1914.

There is also a plot of honor with the graves of soldiers, political prisoners and resistance fighters who died in the Second World War.

The cemetery Rhees in Herstal contains the graves of civilian victims of the Second World War. Most of them were killed by aerial bombardments.
