Liberty monument Geulle

The liberation monument in Geulle is an Holy-Heart statue of crunched stone. The statue was placed on a brick socle with a plaque. Next to the statue is a memorial stone. The memorial stone is 3,50 meter high, 6,50 meter wide and 50 centimeter deep.

The text on the monument is as following:
"Thankfull homage to
the blissful liberation
17th of September 1944
religious community of Geulle"

The text on the memorial stone is as following:
"40 years of liberation
let it be peace
17th of September 1984
the community of Geulle"

The memorial stone was later added to the monument.
