Commonwealth War Graves Les Sables-d'Olonne

Les Sables-d'Olonne New Communal Cemetery contains four Commonwealth war graves from World War II. Of these, one is unidentified.

Photo 2: The grave of an anonymous airman of the Royal Air Force who died on 17 December 1942.

Photo 3: The grave of Sergeant C.H. Durrant, wireless operator/air gunner of the Royal Air Force, who fell on 20 July 1942.

Picture 4: The grave of Private P.A. Brady of The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), fallen at the age of 22 on an unknown date between 10 May and 23 June 1940.

Picture 5: The grave of Sapper L.W. Bird of the Royal Engineers, fallen at the age of 31 on 17 June 1940.
