Memorial 'Spijkenisse Bridge'
This plaque commemorates the bridge that was located here and which was a key point in the German defenses. Round the bridge were bunkers and barricades.
The bridge was demolished in 1978. The last German bunker on the side of Spijkenisse was demolished in 1985.
