Mémorial Maquis de l'Ain and the Résistance Cerdon

This monument next to the cemetery in Cerdon commemorates 700 resistance fighters who died in the resistance during World War II. At the resistance memorial in Cerdon is the grave of the unknown resistance fighter.

On both sides of the memorial are plaques attached agans the wall. One of them is in memory of the endorsement of General Charles de Gaulle to the residents of France on 18-06-1940 during World War II.
