Maginot Line - Fortress Thonnelle
The Maginot-Fortress Thonnelle was a component of the Secteur Fortifié de Montmédy. The garrison consisted of 190 men from the 155e RIF. Fortress Thonnelle was sabotaged by its own men in 1940, before the Germans managed to reach it.
