Graves Polish War Veterans Roman Catholic Cemetery

At the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Terheijden are the graves of the Polish Corporal Joseph Adam Gruca and of Michael Garzynsky.

Joseph Adam Gruca was a soldier in World War II, later he became a corporal and driver of a major in the 2nd Artillery Regiment. He participated in the liberation of France, Belgium and the Netherlands. After the war he married a girl from Terheijden, Corrie van Loenhoud. After the war, Jozef died on 11 September 1978. On photo 3 Jozef Gruca is on the far right.

The war veteran Michael Garzynsky is also buried here (photo 4).
