* Nicolas Reis, born 1873, deported 1942 Theresienstadt, murdered 15 March 1943.
* Lina Reis née Uhlmann, born 1884, deported 1942 Theresienstadt, murdered in Auschwitz.

Nicolas (Nikolas) Reis was deported in September 1942 and was in Theresienstadt another 6 months before he was murdered. Lina Reis was deported on the same transport as Nikolas in September and was later deported to Auschwitz on transport Eb on 18 May 1944.
Their daughter, Lotte Adler, born 1907, survived the war. She died at age 66 in the USA.

There are stolpersteine for Lina Reis's sister Rosa Wassermann and her husband at Sulzbacher Straße 48 in Nürnberg.

"Stolpersteine" is an art project for Europe by Gunter Demnig to commemorate victims of National Socialism (Nazism). Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) are small, 10x10cm brass plaques placed in the pavement in front of the last voluntary residence of (mostly Jewish) victims who were murdered by the Nazis. Each plaque is engraved with the victim’s name, date of birth and place (mostly a concentration camp) and date of death. By doing this, Gunter Demnig gives an individual memorial to each victim. One stone, one name, one person. He cites the Talmud: "A human being is forgotten only when his or her name is forgotten."
