Memorials Église Saint-Joseph Waterloo

In the church of Waterloo, located across from the Wellington Museum, you will find many monuments and plaques, honouring the units, troops and officers who fought in the battle of 1815 at Ligny, Quatre Bras and Waterloo.

Memorial at the Royal Chapel-Saint-Joseph's Church of Waterloo to commemorate the British officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers, who fell in the battles on 16, 17 and 18 June 1815. The bust of the Duke of Wellington, commander of the allied army during the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815, is standing in front of the British memorial.

The plaques are dedicated to:

- The officers and the soldiers of the 12th Light Dragoon, who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- The officers of the 15th King’s Regiment of Hussars, who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- The officers and the soldiers of the 28th Regiment of Foot Guards, who fell in the Battle of Quatre-Bras on 16 June 1815 and the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- The officers of the 2nd Battalion-30th Regiment of Foot, who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- The officers and soldiers of the 33th Regiment of Foot Guards, who fell in the Battle of Quatre-Bras on 16 June 1815 and the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- The British officers of the 3rd Battalion of the Royal Scotts Regiment, who fell in the Battle of Quatre-Bras on 16 June 1815 and the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- The officers, the non-commissioned officers and the soldiers of the 79th Regiment of Highlanders, who fell in the the Battle of Quatre-Bras on 16 June 1815 and the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- Alexander Hay of the 16th Light Dragoons, who fell in the the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- Baron Van Pallandt of the 4th Regiment Lichte Dragonders, who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.

- Lieutenant Colonel Charles Fox Canning of the 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards, who fell in the the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- Lieutenant Colonel Richard Fritzgerald of the 2nd Life Guards, who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- Lieutenant William Livingstone Robe of the Royal Horse Artillery, who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- Major Frederick Howard of the 10th Hussars who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
- Major John Dorset Bringhust of the 1st Regiment King’s Dragoon Guards, who fell in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.
