Memorial Canadian Residency Wassenaar
There was the unveiling on April 20, 2016 of a monument at the residence of the Canadian
ambassador in Wassenaar.
This monument was made due to the 70 years liberation in 2015 by three Dutch artists, Philipp van der Zeeuw, Ruud van Vliet en Patrizia van de Vliet and their names are to be seen in the supporting base. The monument consists of a maple leaf and an original Canadian helmet from World War Two.
