Memorial Airmen Helping Warsaw

This memorial commemorates the 1220 American airmen who, on 18 September 1944, air-dropped food and military supplies over Warsaw to help the Polish Home Army during the Warsaw Uprising (1 August - 2 October 1944).

It is located in the Memorial Park of the National Museum of the US Air Force, with a large number of memorials.
