Memorial Crash Halifax JD375

On this location, Halifax JD375 crashed down on 31 July 1943 after being shot by Lt. Johannes Hager 6./NJG2.

All 7 crewmembers died in the crash. They were buried on Rengen chuchyard, where their graves were maintained with care by the local people. Later on, the graves were transferred to Rheinberg War Cemetery.
