These plaques are dedicated to:

Major General Sir John Campbell who was killed in Sevastopol.

Sub-Lieutenant John Roderick Down (Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve), son of Frederick and Margaret Down, of Edinburgh. He was 20 years old when he died on the HMS Hood (story unknown), on April 10, 1940.

Captain Leslie Dewing Blackburn who gave his life on 23 October 1899 in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).

Lt. Frederick Guthrie Tait who gave his life on 7 February 1900 in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).

RAF-pilot John Woodburn Gillan D.F.C. and Bar A.F.C, who was killed in an air battle in August 1941.

Captain Edward Stanley who gave his life in the Crimean War (1853-1856).

Lt Colonel Thomas Graham who gave his life on 2 November 1855 in the Crimean War (1853-1856).
