Commonwealth War Cemetery New Zealand Bourail

New Zealand War Cemetery in Bourail contains 246 graves from the Second World War. Of these, 4 are unidentified.

The island of New Caledonia was used a a training ground and here the preparation by the New Zealand army for the campagne on the Solomon Islands took place. There was also a large militar hospital and several airfields were constructed.
