German-Soviet War Cemetery Pechenga

This war cemetery was constructed in the Second World War, for German 5971 graves. The last couple of years, graves from the surrounding area were also brought to this cemetery, so there are now about 8000 graves. Granite stones contain 5975 names of known soldiers buried on this cemetery.

This war cemetery also contains the mass graves of 581 Soviet soldiers and officers.
