00.08.1914: volunteered - 1er Régiment de Dragons
00.00.1916: transferred to the Artillerie
00.09.1919: demobilized
00.00.1922: civilian pilot badge - entered the air force reserve
00.09.1939: mobilized as lieutenant in the railway services
20.06.1940: joined the Free French Forces in London
00.08.1940: appointed as platoon nleader in the 13e Demi-brigade de Légion étrangère
00.09.1940: sent to Dakar then in Eritrea where he seized a mountain battery and cleared the railway line from Massawa to Asmara over 80 kilometers
During the capture of Massaoua, he seized with six men a nest of machine guns served by twenty Italians
00.06.1941: campaign in Syria then in Libya with the 1re Brigade Française Libre - 1re BFL led by général Koenig
25.05.1942-05.6.1942: during the battle of Bir-Hakeim he led the platoon equipped with Bren Carriers in the 9e Compagnie of the 3e Bataillon of the 13e DBLE
10.06.1942-11.06.1942: his platoon is tasked to open the road to the ambulance convoys during the exit of the Bir-Hakeim pocket
11.06.1942: KIA when his vehicle is hit by an anti-tank shell
