Bunker RAD Lager Kohlbusch

These bunkers were built in 1938 by the Reichs-Arbeits-Dienst (RAD) on one of their sites as showpieces. Hitler visited these on a secret 2-day tour of inspection on 27 August 1938.

From Buschstrasse, walk 100m south, up the field; one bunker is in open ground, the other (bunker no. 466) is to the west in the trees and bears a swastika.

This bunker has a wall and ceiling thickness of only 70 centimeters and consists of two spaces of 2 by 1 meters and a corridor.
