Plaque Jørgen Arboe-Rasmussen

Jørgen Arboe-Rasmussen was a journalist who was involved in the illegal newspaper "Roskilde Kuréren" during World War II. He and nine other members of the resistance were betrayed by a colleague, who reported them to the Gestapo. At first, Jørgen managed to escape. However, on February 5th 1945 he met the colleague again outside café "Brønnum" in Copenhagen, not knowing that he was an informer. Jørgen was shot by the Gestapo and was killed.
