Belgian War Graves Gérompont
The churchyard in Gérompont contains the grave of a military victim of the Second World War. It concerns DETRY Gilbert, who died in Wielsbeke on 26 May 1940.
There is also the grave of GOOSSENS Albert, resistance fighter of the Second World War. He was sentenced to death for espionage and executed in Brussels on 17 April 1943.
