Westwall Museum Festungswerk Gerstfeldhöhe

A nice museum that takes you a kilometer into the hills at Pirmasens. It is worthwhile to visit this museum. Beautiful dioramas are interspersed with the thoughts that a lot has happened here. You have plenty of time to walk around.

If it were fully built, this would be the largest A-Werke of the Westwall.
It was used completely as storage by the Americans up to and including the Gulf War.
