German War Graves Südfriedhof Köln

Besides the 40000 victims of bombardments, also many German soldiers who were killed in World war II are buried on the Südfriedhof (Southern Cemetery) of Cologne, in several plots which are located close to each other.

The victims of the bombing on May 18, 1918 are at the Südfriedhof in Cologne. These are the first victims to have died during a bombing raid on Cologne.
