Memorial Josip Jović

This memorial commemorates Josip Jović, a Croatian police officer who was killed on this location by Serb forces during the Plitvice Lakes incident on 31 March 1991. He is widely considered the first Croatian fatality of the Croatian Homeland War (or Croatian War of Independence).
