Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um die Befreiung Österreichs

The "Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um die Befreiung Österreichs" was instituted on January 27th, 1976 with Bundesgesetz Nr. 79/1976 by the Austria Republic to honor persons who handled meritorious during the liberation of Austria from the National-Sicialist Regime. The decoration can be awarded posthumously.
