Orden des Eisernen Kreuzes

The King in Prussia, also then the German Emperor, re-instituted the Order of the Iron Cross on August 5th, 1914. The Order was before instituted in 1871.
The Order was intituted with two classes, 1.Klasse (1st Class) and 2. 2.Klasse (2nd Class) and a Grosskreuz (Grand Cross).
