Sir Barnes Wallis Medal

The Sir Barnes Wallis Medal was created by The Guild of Air Pilots & Air Navigators (The Honourable Company of Air Pilots incorporating Air Navigators) in "recognition of an innovative and exceptional contribution to aviation". The medal is named after Barnes Neville Walles, credited for designing bombs for the RAF during the Second World War and other important work after the war. The medal is still being awarded.
