Herdenkingspenning Medisch Contact 1941-1945

Bronze commemorative medal of 60 mm issued by the Dutch Society for the Promotion of Medicine and awarded in memory of doctors who had been active in the Medical Resistance during the Second World War.

Obverse:
Image: Cracked swastika entwined by the snake of Aesculapius.
Inscription: Alleen een vrij man kan een goed geneesheer zijn. (Only a free man can be a good physician.)

Reverse:
Image of Aesculapius and above the name of entitled person is engraved.
