Medaille Frankton

This commemorative medal was commission by the "Frankton Souvenir" and has been designed by Le Lorrain Gérard, a former marine commando and member of the National Association of Fusiliers Marins of Aquitaine.

Medal design:
The medal is crafted from numismatic bronze, stamped with a diameter of 70mm, and finished in aged bronze. It is presented in an individual case. One side features a depiction of the Port of Bordeaux with a kayak, accompanied by the inscription "Operation Frankton 75th Anniversary" along with the years "1942-2017." The reverse side includes the words "COCKLESHELL HEROES" at the top, the emblem of Combined Operations alongside the Royal Marines insignia in the center, and "75th Anniversary" at the bottom.

The medal is issued in a limited edition of 100 pieces for France, numbered FR01 to FR100, and 100 pieces for England, numbered GB01 to GB100.
