Tyrol (1955-present, Bundesland)
When on May 15th, 1955 the Austrian State Treaty was signed and Austria became a Federal State, North- and East-Tyrol were juridical merged to the Bundesland Tyrol.
On December 1st, 1997, Tyrol (Austria), Südtirol (Italy) and Trentino (Italy), formed an Europaregion by which in some way the old Princely County relived.
