13   Evacuation of civilians from BEMMEL carried out. Those authorised to remain by the Burgomaster were issued passes. B19, 20.
14-15   Skeleton tpt only remains in BEMMEL area owing to high water conditions in the rivers WAAL and NEDER RIJN making it possible for the enemy to flood the “Island” by breaching the dyke towards the Eastern end. B.21, 22. G.
16   A Coy moved 2015 hrs to relieve a coy of 6 HLI in the area HEUVEL 740695 in contact with the enemy. B.25, 26.
17   Minefield laid in A Coy's area by 233 Fd Coy RE in order to reduce the personnel engaged in the defence of the Iocality. B.27, 28.
18-20   No active patrolling carried out owing to coy front being heavily mined. Conditions in area improved by duck-boards lean- to sheds and barrels. B.31, 32, 33, 34.
21   Advance party moved to area ROULERS H6670 prior to bn move. B.35, 36.
22-23   Conducting inter-coy change every 2 days in the area of HEUVEL. B.37, 38, 39, 40.
