18   Patrol night 17/18 entered 2 houses 790279. Some evidence of recent civilian occupation. Following houses systematically searched - 793281 - 795283 - 796282 - 798281 - farmyard with barns) and 801281 (large house with barn attached). All houses and barns are roofless and badly damaged. No signs of recent enemy occupation except weapon slits outside each gp and MG pit corner of wood 79602825. No enemy equipment in any of houses.
