23   By nightfall 1 Suffolk established across rly and towards GEIJSTEREN 8329. The KASTEEL still held by enemy. 2 E.Yorks in SMAKT 8031 and MAASHEES 8131. Very little opposition encountered throughout. 1 Norfolk in OOSTRUM 8027 and WANSSUM 8427. K.S.L.I. in ZANDMOEK 8124 and OORLO0 8224. Many mines encountered and very bad going owing to mud and flooding.
