|15-16||Exercises. Ex “Deputy” set by 8 Br Inf Bde. Object to practice cooperation between inf and tanks in an assault landing.|
|24||Visits. Maj.Gen. T.G. Rennie D.S.O. M.B.E. visited the bn and addressed all ranks.|
|27-31||Ex Leapyear set by 3 Br Inf Div. Object (i) To Practice R.N. and an assault Div in its roll under as realistic conditions as possible (ii) To practice Div Gp in the rapid capture and consolidation of a bridge head (iii) To practice No 6 Beach Gp in the preparation of a Beach Maintenance Area.|
