2 1430 SCAO gave a lecture to officers of 11 Armd Div at ALDERSHOT.
5 1800 A conference attended by APM, DAAG, FSO, rep Int(b) and CA Staff was held at WORTH HALL to discuss method of Refugee control. Appx ‘A’
8   Points in connection with CA discussed with BGS (Brig. Sir H.R.K. Floyd Bt) and DA&QMG (Brig E.P. Sewell OBE). Appx ‘B’
12   Points in connection with CA discussed with DDMS (Brig. H.L. Glyn-Hughes, DSO, MC) and CSO (Brig C. Knowles, OBE). Appx ‘C’
15   All officers attended a lecture given by the Corps Comd (Lt.Gen. Sir R.N. O’Connor, KCB, DSO, MC). Lecture was followed by talks by DA&QMG and AQMG (Lt.Col. A.B. Coote) on methods of embarkation and disembarkation. SCAO 2nd Army (Brig R.M.H. Lewis, MC) arrived at 1600 hrs at WORTH HALL for the night. A discussion with all officers was held at 1800 hrs.
17   SQMS Comber reported to assume appointment of Chief Clerk.
18   Sjt. Watson reported as clerk. Total str of clerks now four.
26   Three ton lorry delivered. Tpt now complete.
28   More G1098 stores collected from ALDERSHOT leaving small balance still to be collected.
29   Loading trial carried out with Main HQ 8 Corps for personnel and vehicles travelling in 1st and 2nd parties.
30 1030 SCAO attended a conference held by DA&QMG at Main Corps HQ.
31   Major D.J. Mitchell, MC. KRRC reported for duty as SO2 (Adm).
