4 1425 B.B.C. news van stopped in main square. It relayed music + at 1430 news in French, checked identity of officer in charge who stated it was proposed to continue broadcasting daily. This was done.
15 1600 Received instruction O33 from 36 Brick dated 151400B to collect forthwith one 15 cwt 4x2 vehicle from L of C. Vehicle Sub Park Authority for issue B/17/216/7758 issue order.
15 1800 Collected Ford 15 cwt truck No Z 5429056
16 1800 Received movement order from 36 Brick to move to BRUSSELS as soon as possible + report to Town Major No 91 for allotment 2nd Army. Authority G (SD) H.Q. 12 L of C Authority SD9977. 36 Brick ref 1010/Q (M)/121 date 16 Sept 1944.
19 1830 Received instructions from 36 Brick Ref 910 secret, to hand over all documents and maps referring to present areas to O.C. H.Q. Coy 18 D.L.I. at COURSEULLES at 1000 hrs 20 sept 1944 + then move to BRUSSELS.
20 1000 Handed our maps + documents to O.C. H.Q. Coy 18 D.L.I. as ordered.
20 1600 Closed office at 21 Place de Marché + packed all stores.
21 1030 Left CREULLY with all staff + stores on 15 cwt with No 140. Town Major semilarly carried + loaded.
ROUEN FRANCE 21 1800 Staged the night at ISNEAUVILLE.
CAMBRAI FRANCE 22 1900 Staged the night.
BRUSSELS BELGIUM 23 1700 Arrived BRUSSELS
24 1100 Reported to 91 Town Major who gave instructions tot wait further orders.
